For Clinicians
Support NP Students. Protect Your Time. Keep Clinical Education Accessible.
Precepting plays a critical role in shaping the next generation of nurse practitioners. At the same time, we understand that clinicians are increasingly overwhelmed by administrative tasks, unsolicited student outreach, and unclear expectations. Our preceptor network was created to support students without placing unnecessary burden on clinicians — and to keep clinical education accessible and ethical.
Support the next generation of nurse practitioners while helping keep clinical education accessible, ethical, and sustainable.
Many NP students are required to secure their own clinical placements while continuing to pay full tuition. By serving as a preceptor, you help students gain meaningful, real-world experience and prevent unnecessary delays in their education.
Precepting allows you to make a lasting impact — without committing beyond what your schedule allows. You choose when and how often you precept, ensuring the experience remains rewarding, manageable, and aligned with your practice.
Precepting should focus on teaching — not paperwork. We act as a coordination layer between students, schools, and preceptors, handling the administrative details that often make precepting burdensome.
Our team screens students, coordinates scheduling, manages school documentation, and communicates with academic programs on your behalf.
By managing these logistics, we reduce interruptions to your practice and ensure expectations are clear before a rotation begins. Our goal is to make every placement organized, professional, and low-friction for preceptors.
You remain fully in control of your participation. As a preceptor, you choose whether to accept individual students based on fit, experience level, and availability.
You determine how often you precept, which learners you accept, and whether you participate as a volunteer or request a stipend (when permitted by your practice setting).
There are no long-term commitments or obligations. Each placement is coordinated individually, allowing you to participate in a way that aligns with your schedule, clinical environment, and professional goals.
If you are interested in serving as a clinical preceptor, the next step is to complete our brief Preceptor Interest Form. This form allows us to learn more about your practice setting, availability, and preferences so we can coordinate placements thoughtfully and respectfully.
Submitting the form indicates interest only — placements are offered based on mutual fit and timing. We appreciate clinicians who are willing to support students while helping build a fair, sustainable approach to clinical education.
